PV Rent a Roof - Free Solar PV for Social Housing and Commercial Clients

PV rent a roof schemes represent an excellent alternative to financing PV installations for those wishing to benefit from the production of green electricity without the risks, costs and associated responsibilities of ownership.

Due to a dramatic reduction in the FIT (Feed in Tariff) many planned schemes have been left without funding as investors move on to other investments.

Assured Asset Finance continue to provide free solar pv installation until April 2012. We are able to cover fund commercial, ground mounted and social housing projects

One of our funds is probably the largest fund in the UK specifically aimed at this market. The buying power of this fund enables them to continue with schemes which may not be economically viable for others to do so.

How Does a Rent a Roof Scheme Work?

The customer can use as much electricity as the system can produce at a discounted rate. The investor funds the installation and ongoing maintenance costs of the system and in return receives the FIT and any export tariff for unused electricity.
